In screw air compressors, the shaft oil seal plays a crucial role in preventing lubricating oil from leaking out of the compressor chamber while keeping dust, moisture, and contaminants from entering.
Our new-generation PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) shaft seals are specifically designed for demanding compressor environments, providing outstanding wear resistance, low friction, and long-term sealing stability under continuous rotation and high pressure.

Material and Structure

Each seal is made with a stainless-steel skeleton and a precision-formed PTFE sealing lip. Depending on the working conditions, the outer casing can be fully rubber-coated or left uncoated for mechanical fit installations.
The PTFE lip surface features reverse spiral grooves on the inner wall, creating a micro pumping effect that generates inward oil pressure during shaft rotation—effectively preventing lubricant leakage and maintaining seal integrity.
